Cosmic Moon Date tells you the day of the week you were born and the phase of the Moon above you on that date, and offers a reading of what those things have traditionally been taken to mean.

The astronomy is accurate and checkable — we explain exactly how it is calculated and how it is verified. The meanings are drawn from long traditions of lunar and day-of-week symbolism, and they are offered for personal reflection and entertainment.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and nothing here should be used in place of a qualified professional. It is not a prediction of what will happen to you, and it is not a diagnosis of anything.

If you are struggling with your health, your money or your safety, please speak to someone qualified to help. A website about the Moon is not that, and would not want to be mistaken for it.

We take the astronomical calculations seriously and verify them against an independent method and against recorded eclipses. Even so, we provide the site as it is and cannot guarantee it will always be available or entirely free of error.

If you spot something wrong, please tell us — we would rather know.
